Hutch or cage - Preferably 4ft for small dwarfs,5ft for standards and 6ft for a pair of rabbits sharing. A built in or separate run will be needed for exercise to maintain a healthy animal.
A food dish – Earthenware bowls such as those used for cats and dogs are ideal. Plastic bowls are too light and will be kicked around and they will make a mess of their rabbit hutch.
A gravity fed water bottle – As rabbits drink a lot of water it will be wise to buy a decent sized one. these are usually supplied with a wire which attaches to the rabbit's cage front mesh.
A regular supply of hay and rabbit feed from a reputable supplier
Rabbits do enjoy playing with toys and like to have something to gnaw on. Empty toilet roll tubes, cardboard boxes and anything that can be stuffed with hay and feed will help keep your rabbit amused. Many pet shops sell log tunnels to gnaw on and loads of other toys suitable.
